An outstanding opportunity for a talented Financial Controller with strong management skills has become available. Atlas South Sea Pearl is an Australian listed company with business operations in Indonesia. It is one of the most successful pearl production companies in the world and is expanding into jewellery manufacturing and distribution. The company is seeking a hands on individual to take up a position which will be based in Bali but will involve some international travel.
Financial Controller - Bali
Responsibilities:
- The Financial Controller position will require an individual that is capable of directing and advising a finance team and working with executive management and the Board of Directors in all aspects of financial management. You will take responsibility for the management of all financial information and controls within the group and will provide financial information and commercial advice to the CEO and to the Board. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly financial/management reports (Board and departmental)
- Statutory reports
- System control supervision
- Strategic planning, budget preparation and cash flow management
- Implementation of systems to maximise key performance drivers
- Tax planning
Requirements:
- You will ideally have the following skill set to fill this role:
- Professional accounting qualification
- Experience with SAP B1
- Previous accounting/finance experience in a listed entity
- International/Asian experience including cross jurisdictional tax issues
- Ability to stay focused, motivate individuals and be pro-active in identification of opportunities and potential problems
- The ability to effectively communicate with both oral and written Indonesian language (desirable but not essential)
